Alexis birthday

Alexis wanted to throw a huge party for her birthday but I was too burnt out to pull that off. I talked her into going to Jump Sky High with 2 friends. Of coarse she chose Natalie and Celeste. We often babysit them a couple times a week so they have all become quite close. This is their princess smiles.

Their favorite part was the foam pit. You would jump between 3 trampolines into a giant pit of foam.

Leland especially loved it. Too bad it took him almost the whole time to get brave enough to jump in. Once he did he would scream when we had to pull him out for the next child's turn.

Because I was too cheap to purchase the birthday package at Jump Sky High we went to McDonalds Playplace to have lunch, cookies and presents. The girls went right in to play while I was ordering. While I was in line they came running in and hugged my leg saying "this was the best birthday ever". McDonalds was one of their most favorite parts. I will remember that when she begs for the big party at our home again.

Alexis has never enjoyed cake much but these cookies are her favorite so we made them into a cake for her. All the girls were saying how they were going to ask their Moms for that kind of cake. I'm sure their Moms will be happy to do it, easiest cake I ever made!

This is one of Alexis's birthday presents. She really wanted tap shoes and then I found this skirt and couldn't resist. After putting on the whole outfit she wanted to pose for me. She can never do just a regular old picture. This is her modeling pose. And another.
This is a shot of her twirling in her skirt. It's the best twirling skirt in the world.

On each of our birthdays we let the birthday person choose all their favorite foods to eat for dinner that night. She chose pizza, jello jigglers, Cheetos and cauliflower. I was proud of her for picking at least one healthy item. She said she didn't want a cake. She wanted to save it for when we went to Jump Sky high with her friends a couple days later. She said to put the candles in her food. We told her she could have cake twice but she still didn't want it. Maybe she new she would be too sick after eating her junky lunch.

One of her favorite presents.

Another favorite present from her Grandma Carla.
