You all are probably wondering what happened to us. The only thing I can say is "Life" happened. Both Darci and I have had some good intentions of updating our blog. A lot has happened and we have the pictures to prove it but there is not enough room here to post them all. I will attempt to highlight. Leland has completed his first year here and is continually developing into one of the cutest kids you will ever want to see. He is up to about 12 words(ish) with the sound effects to go with them, like dog and woof. He loves balls, cars, books, being outside, and climbing. He is turning into our little terror.

Alexis is turning into a very bright young lady. she finished preschool and is off to kindergarten when school starts again in Aug. She is writing and sounding out words as she goes and has started reading some small books about Jane and spot. She has some great friends that live here on our street and her best friend lives in Jackson and they get together at least three times a week. When they are not together she longs for and prays for her company.

We as a family went on a little three day vacation to Santa Rosa area and went to the beach for a day. Alexis and dad had a blast exploring the beach and finding all kinds of shells and other little sea animals that live it the tide pools. Both Alexis and Leland loved swimming in the hotel swimming pool, Leland has no fear and we have to watch him very closely. Summer is finally starting here and Darci is busy with helping friends with baby showers and her primary calling and playing with the kids. Darci had a good Birthday with the time away with the family and a few presents given by Alexis and Daddy. I still am a nocturnal person 3-4 nights a week. As you can see, as I said before "Life" has happened. Hope you do enjoy the pictures and we will try to get some up more often.
